From our base near Redditch, we usually deliver within a radius of about 20 miles – this includes Worcestershire, North Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, South Birmingham and Solihull (although we can deliver further afield).

We deliver on our own dedicated fleet of lorries.
We currently operate one ‘Transit’ tipper, one ‘four wheeler’ 18t tipper, one ‘bag wagon’, four ‘8 wheelers’ and two 44t artics. At times of high demand we also have regular reliable sub-contractors that we use to supplement our own fleet. This way we have full control over deliveries. All drivers are trained and extremely experienced at delivering to customers at a wide variety of sites.

For example, for most gravels and chippings you would want a depth of no more than 50mm / 2 inches (slightly less for 10mm gravels), and an average density for gravels and chippings is 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre.
So an area 10m x 10m at 50mm deep would be 5 cubic metres X 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre = 7.5 tonnes required.

There may be an additional delivery charge for bulk bags if you are more than 12 radial miles (“as the crow flies”) from our depot – but if this applies we will make it clear when you enquire.

We are able to deliver to you even if you aren’t going to be there.
We would usually ask you to leave some form of marker where you would like the material to be left.
However – we only provide KERB SIDE DELIVERY.
If you ask us to deliver to a position which would need the lorry to leave the road (onto your driveway or onto a track or other ground) it is up to the discretion of the driver to determine whether they feel it is safe to do so. If you do ask the driver to leave the road, then you are responsible for any damage caused as we cannot be responsible for the state of the ground that we are being asked to drive on, and the costs of any recovery if the vehicle gets stuck would also be the responsibility of the customer.

However, due to the many uncertainties regarding traffic conditions, or possible difficulties with deliveries before yours in the schedule, it is usually impossible to give a specific time of delivery, and all times are subject to variation if there are delays throughout the day.

If we don’t currently stock what you are looking for we will always do our best to source it for you. We have an extremely wide range of suppliers, and we are usually able to source ‘non-stock’ products from one of them.

Although we don’t stock the pavers themselves, for some time now we have stocked a full range of the sub-base sizes needed to go underneath for proper drainage.
We have stock of 10/63mm and 4/20mm for the sub base, the 2/6mm for laying the pavers on, and the 1/4mm granite to brush between the pavers.
